Your suggestion(please include as much info as you can): okay so firstly i took this idea from a server where they have a forgiveness day on a specific date every 1 day a year, okay so let me explain more about this day
What is the Forgiveness day
It's a day that will happen once a year where the players get an extra chance. All players that apply for an unban appeal will be accepted unless they're a direct danger to have on the server. If a player has in the past attacked the server or the forum, they might be denied even on this day.
But if you're a previous hacker and ban evader, you will be given Another chance on this day even if you've ban evaded before, IF YOU APPLY FOR AN UNBAN APPEAL. You will of course be banned the next day again if you continue breaking the rules.
Please note: You might not get unbanned if you got banned 1-3 months ago or if you've attacked the server.
How to apply for it
1. There can be a topic about this day, and itl'll only be unlocked on the specific date of the forgiveness day, so players can apply for an unban appeal
Extra notes: I will let the admins decide the date of the forgiveness day.

No. Been there but it seems like they keep on repeating it, so it's not happening anymore.

I think its totally useless why would you wait for a year when you can appeal again after 2/3 months

Denied, i dont think a specific day every year for blind unban is good. It's better to review unban appeal case by case, those who deserve and are willing to change will be given chance while those who dont (repeated rule break/ban evader/cheater) will have to wait longer. If you look through server bans, most players that got banned were given chances. It's just about when, but if the player keep causing trouble and provoking/insulting the staff team/server which that alone is a rule break, it's expected the unban appeal will be denied since he just showed that he's unable to follow the rules. It's common sense..
