Hey Guys, I know you all don't know me cuz I am not a player of EC.I want to play in EC server but when I join EC, my game starts lagging very hardly and even when I spawn I got kick for unstable fps.Any solution of this?

your graphics drivers probably, use IOBIT driver booster. you easily find it with crack on internet, not only graphics but it will update all your missing drivers.

change your nick btw , there is already a joker in VCMP :P

SOLUTİON
1. If your game is running, close the game
2. Remove '04rel004' folder from your Vice City Multiplayer directory
3. Open VCMPBrowser.exe
4. Click 'Tools' and set your Updater URL to http://u04.thijn.ovh
5. Click OK and join EC server, your VCMP browser will automatically download and install rel004
6. Let me know if the problem persist..

If your pc running a lot of service host like the DVR game bar or superfetch etc.. ,maybe those things affecting fps.

You might had to upgrade your ram for run it smoothly but before ram you have to check out your graphics drivers it happens with this sometimes.

I've reported this issue numerous times in the past when the update released and it's still not fixed.
No it's not on my end but some shitty script code that's causing it.

Yes, i still havent solve the problem because i couldnt find the cause( besides my very limited time due to personal life and lack of information in this case ). If it was script problem, it should have happened in rel004 too because neither Mashreq nor me added anything in client-side script during the upgrade to rel006. Actually, many things were removed from client-side script so it should be lighter. Most of the update were in server-side and it's the server that need to do the works, not your PC so your FPS should not be affected.
The FPS problem could be caused by your PC, other program/drivers, your game/vcmp/EC server( but i still dont think it's script fault because VCMP dev gave pretty much limited access to client PC besides the scripts works the same for everyone so if it happened to you..it should also happen to other players...Well, unless we are using a function/vcmp feature that was not optimized nicely or has unexpected behavior..which we still dont know what it is ). It's pretty hard to find the cause because of my limited time, lack of information and i cant test it either as it never happen to me.

The FPS problem only and ONLY happens in this server, nowhere else.
Something has been implemented with the rel006 server update that is causing it.

As i said earlier, we didnt add anything new to client-side script, instead many things were removed so it should be lighter..
