well, it more seems like he did it to avoid boredom. Its not something like you ppl were engaged in a fight/dm with someone and he started shooting you or destroyed your car etc.. For suicide, He didn't know that right ? you ought to urge him not to shoot instead of letting him shoot at you.

Anyways, He'll be verbally warned and we'll keep our eyes at him.
