I had posted the solution in bug report section few weeks ago but as many players had missed it and created different topics, i've decided to make one topic for the steps so i just have to post the link to this topic & only edit this topic if there any changes. This is the possible solution for Account/Login/Register GUI problem. It's not server's fault but it happened because player's VCMP files are corrupted/modified..etc. The steps could also solve most common problem you might face that is caused by corrupted/modified VCMP files. So, if you face any problem related to your VCMP client while playing in this server, that is working fine for other player, you can try the steps below:
Steps to reinstall VCMP's rel006( EC is using rel006 ):
It will solve most problem & it just take few minutes, so it is worth a try..
1. If your game is running, close the game
2. Remove all folder with name 04rel006 from your Vice City Multiplayer directory
3. Open VCMPBrowser.exe
4. Click 'Tools' and set your Updater URL to http://u04.vc-mp.org
5. Click OK and join EC server, your VCMP browser will automatically download and install rel006 version/updates
6. Let me know if the problem persist..
If you cant find your Vice City Multiplayer folder, the default installation path is as below unless you changed it:
%localappdata%/Vice City Multiplayer
If VCMP browser fails to find VC game:
Well, it should not happen unless you remove 'browser' folder..
1. Open VCMPBrowser.exe
2. Click on 'Tools' and set GTA:VC Directory path as where your game( gta-vc.exe ) is located..
If it's working for other player and it doesnt work for you, try reinstall your game & VCMP.
If the problem persist, PM me the debuglog with detail of your problem. Make sure you join EC server before opening the debuglog because if you joined other server, the text shown in the debuglog will be the log of the other server. The file it's located at:
