Few of you have been asking me to help them with Mirc from last few days. My motive behind this topic is to acknowledge newbies with basics of Mirc.
Most of you know about Mirc including most of the newbies. First Step is to download and connect through Mirc which you can find

Network - #EC is on LUnet (Liberty Unleashed IRC Network). You can find more about this network
HERE/ns irc.liberty-unleashed.co.uk Channels: To view all the channels on the network press alt+L or you can access it from the tools.
You know the name of the channel? try
/join #nameofchannelRegister You Nick: This is the necessary part, if you plan to stay on Mirc or use it everyday. I suggest you to register your Nickname otherwise someone may impersonate your Nickname. In addition, registered nicks are eligible for different IRC levels.
/ns REGISTER <password> <youremail@example.com>Once you are registered, everytime you join the network, you have to identify yourself unless you have Bouncer. Identify is similar to login.
/ns identify <password>Nick: Once you are identified (login), you can change you nick via
/Nick newnick, but I don't recommend nick change unless needed. You can only identify with your original nick, not the one you changed.
